Jai Kamal is an Assistant Professor in the Economics area at IIM Jammu. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the Indian Institute of Management Lucknow and an MBA from the University of Delhi. His research areas are the economics of education and labor economics, and his research focuses on the effect of government policies on educational and labor market outcomes. His research has been published in reputed journals such as Public Choice and the Journal of Human Capital. Before joining IIM Jammu, he worked as a Junior Research Fellow at UNESCO-MGIEP, responsible for working on the Inclusive Wealth Report. He works at the intersection of data science and economics.
